Alison and Gatlin

Our Story

Love at first message

We met online on October 7 and met in person on October 11 as Alison was driving through Madison on her way back to Minneapolis. Starbucks was the original plan, but since neither of us needed coffee, we decided instead to walk around a park we found nearby. At that point we were both crushing really hard (LOLOLOLOLOL), and officially decided to start a relationship when Gatlin visited Alison the next weekend. It became evident very early on that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. On January 22, Gatlin asked Alison to marry him. He surprised her that weekend and headed on a road trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have lived in different states throughout our whole relationship, but have been fortunate to see each other every weekend. We have loved every minute together, and every minute we learn more about each other while we are apart. We have been so blessed to have so much support from family and friends and we hope everyone can join us on September 10 to celebrate the beginning of our lives together, joyfully serving our amazing Lord!
